NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:

Sealed bids will be received by Meridian Community College, Lauderdale County, Mississippi in the Physical Plant Conference Room located at 910 Hwy 19 North, Meridian, Mississippi, 39307 until 10:00 a.m. on the 2nd day of May, 2023 and shortly thereafter publicly opened for 2023 PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENTS. 

CONTRACT TIME:    30 Calendar Days

BASIS OF AWARD:

Meridian Community College hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.

PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS are on file in the Office of the Owner and the Project Engineer's office.  This project shall be constructed in accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction.  However, State Aid is not involved in this project.

PLANS AND PROPOSALS may be secured from Kevin C. Thompson, Project Engineer, 9085A Pine Springs Road, Meridian, MS 39305. The Cost is twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for plans and twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the proposal, non-refundable. OR PLANS AND PROPOSALS may be downloaded from PH Bidding Group at www.phbidding.com. Electronic bids can be submitted at www.phbidding.com.  For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call PH Bidding Group at 662-407-0193.

Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Meridian Community College must accompany each proposal.

Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be considered in making the award.
